GMAC Auto Insurance
As a subsidiary of General Motors Acceptance Corporation (well-known car maker General Motors' automobile financing unit), the company offers insurance in both the preferred and nonstandard automobile insurance markets.
GMAC Insurance has more than 100 offices worldwide and has approximately a million policyholders through over 10,000 independent agencies across the United States. The company's main focus is on selling specialty insurance products for cars, commercial vehicles, and motorcycles, primarily for drivers who do not qualify for standard insurance.
